This ID digitally stores all academic records, including report cards, certificates, scholarships, and co-curricular achievements, in a centralized system linked to DigiLocker. ​

How to Register for APAAR ID?

Option 1: Through Your School or College

1. Parental Consent: Schools must obtain consent from parents or guardians before registration.
2. Verification: Visit the school to verify demographic details.
3. Authentication: Authenticate identity through the school.
4. ID Creation: Upon successful verification, the APAAR ID is created and added to DigiLocker for secure online access. ​

Option 2: Self-Registration via DigiLocker

1. Create a DigiLocker Account:
   • Visit DigiLocker or download the app.
   • Sign up using your mobile number and Aadhaar details.
2. Link Aadhaar:
   • Complete the e-KYC process by granting permission to share your Aadhaar information with the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC).
3. Register for APAAR ID:
   • Log in to your DigiLocker account.
   • Navigate to the Academic Bank of Credits section.
   • Fill in your academic details, including school/university name, class, course, etc.
   • Submit the form to generate your APAAR ID.
